Repeat Run
Purpose: start a new run with the same settings as a previous one, without re-entering them.
Prerequisites: the run you want to repeat appears in Recent Runs.
Steps
- In Recent Runs, select the run's script name to open Run Detail.
- Check Requested as to confirm the script and options that were used.
- Select Repeat run….
- Watcher scrolls to Run Control, selects the script and fills Run options from the recorded recipe. A status message reads: Repeats the requested settings against the current project. Review, then choose Run.
- Read any notices below that message, review Effective run, then select Run.
Expected result: a new run starts and appears as a separate entry in Recent Runs when it completes. The original run is unchanged.
Repeat Run never starts a run on its own. You always review the plan and select Run yourself.
What is reused
Watcher records a run recipe with each run: the package script, the execution mode and any Run options you set (projects, browser mode, workers and retries). Repeat Run re-applies that recipe to the current project. Watcher does not snapshot your tests or configuration, so the repeated run uses whatever is in your project now.
Notices
When the project changed since the original run, Watcher explains what it adjusted:
